This is my to go to steakhouse in the Woodland Hills area. A steak is ~$50 for 8 oz and doesn’t come with any sides. The quality of the food is great and service as well. The only thing I don’t like is the bread, they have served in the past. I like soft warm bread instead of the cold hard bread they served.

One of my top favorites in LA and to most in the area over the decades. Corn-fed steaks that are to die for. This place has changed for the better and once again is juking! Monthly events & daily specials. A must see in the area.*** (I do hope they make the switch to Sustainable or regenerative grass fed beef soon.)

At first impression, Monty's is in need of an update inside, everything is very dated. I sat at a half circular table which was not very comfortable either. Once you get past the decor, the rest of the experience is good. I started with a special spinich salad which was delicious paired with their warm sourdough bread. Their chopped salad without lettuce is delicious too! For the main course I had their New York strip steak which was delicious. It was prepared perfectly with a nice char on the outside and a warm, tender center. The staff was very nice, Madonna was very attentive. Overall it was a very solid steakhouse.

Best steakhouse in the Valley! It's a bit pricey but it is all worth it. Love their Jalapeno corn. Servers are warm and very accomodating. They can get really busy, make reservation beforehand,it's a must.

Excellent steaks and rack of lamb. Expensive but they deliver a rare experience ( or if you want your experience well done, that can be accomplished, too). Things are a la carte , so be aware that you may want a side dish or two...their Brussels sprouts and sauteed spinach are excellent. If you are at the bar and want something less substantial, the steak and eggs is delicious. Happy hour here is a well attended event, a mixed crowd but skewed toward older. The owner almost always in attendance, assuring good service. Recommended. I'd steak my reputation on it.
